Loved the location of Indian Rocks Beach

"We had a wonderful stay at 812 Beach Trail. Thank you, Ed for sharing your home. You were prompt with replays when I had questions. We needed nothing more than groceries. I was pleased to find a beach bag in the closet, since I forgot to bring one. Having a full sized washer and dryer and kitchen appliances was great too. We loved the location of Indian Rocks Beach, the crowds were always north or south of us. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back!!"

Cottage was perfect for us

"This was our first trip to IRB and our first time using VRBO to find a place to stay. It could not have gone better. The perfect weather was a definite plus, but this cottage was perfect for us and our two boys (ages 5 & 12). It so great to be able to run out to the beach for a short while & then come back easily to the house. Great location from which to do day trips too. Already planning our return trip!"

Cottage is very cozy and comfortable

"This cottage is very cozy and comfortable. It feels private even though the properties are close to each other. The view of the Gulf is unrivaled. The cottage is clean and well furnished. You feel comfortable there. The awning covered deck and boardwalk with shower and hose to rinse after being at the beach are great. Then there's only 15 - 20 yards of soft sand to be on the beach. We loved being able to see the Gulf over the dunes. Especially at sunset! Ed is a very responsive owner. We were in touch and the minor problems that occurred were taken care of ASAP. The cottage has a guest book to write a short summary of your stay. It's fun to read the entries that other guests have written about their stays at the cottage. There are books on the history of Indian Rocks Beach that we found very interesting. We also enjoyed our proximity to the Kooky Coconut! We could walk to it easily for their homemade ice cream! The building has been there since 1925! We highly recommend staying at 812 Beach Trail."

Walk out the back door right to the beach

"I can't say enough about how wonderful this home is. We've been to Indian Rocks several times, but this was our second trip to this lovely little home and I'm ready to plan our return trip. Nothing compares to the ability to walk out the back door and step right on the beach. The private feeling of the beach is the best, we're not too fond of crowded beaches and we've never felt crowded here. We love everything about Indian Rocks Beach, we love the restaurants, shops and people, when the locals say it's "Mayberry", they aren't kidding. If you are on the fence on where to stay, seriously, look no further. It is worth every penny! Our children love the Kooky Coconut (ice cream shop) and we walked there several times during our week. We ate at Crabby Bills, Guppy's, PJ's, all were great, but our favorite place is DeLosa's Pizza south on Gulf Blvd. in John's Pass. Try the garlic knots, they're incredible! There are so many things to do in IRB and nearby towns, something for everyone for sure. We have done something new every trip and there's still much more we'd like to do. Our favorite thing though... sitting on the back deck eating dinner while watching the sunset, then going down to the beach, my son and husband fishing from the shore catching a variety of fish and shark, and my daughter and I hunting for shells. It's my heaven... Thank you for another incredible week in your beautiful home, Ed, the memories we made will last a lifetime!"

Charming Cottage, perfect location

"This is a very well-appointed, charming cottage, and the location is perfect. The beach is a short walk from the front deck, which by the way is expansive and has a sun shade that is quite handy in the afternoon. The cottage faces west to the Gulf, so the water views and sunsets are amazing. Binoculars are a must for watching ospreys, pelicans, terns, herons and skimmers at work. In the water we saw dolphins galore as well as manatees and even a mammoth sea turtle heading back to the water after laying her eggs. A great experience -- we hope to do it again."
